‍Ateliers ouverts : Les rencontres de Montmartre is organised around visits, discussions, workshops, performances, as well as concerts and screenings in this unique venue. Supported by the Cité internationale des arts, the Art Explora Foundation and the Académie des beaux-arts, this event brings together some twenty artists from a variety of backgrounds and practices, in residence thanks to the "Art Explora x Cité internationale des arts" and "Académie des beaux-arts x Cité internationale des arts" programmes.

Using as a starting point the practice of Alejandro Garcias Contreras, the talk will focus on the new cosmognies that can emerge from Japanese manga culture. With the help of new media researcher Samuel Lévêque, this exploration of intense cultural syncretisms will span from Latin America to Western Europe.
